Jesup, Georgia

Rebecca "Becky" Kessner, 61, of Jesup, died Friday, December 23, 2022. The German born native was a high school graduate there prior to coming back to the states with her family. She had worked previously with Pine Forest County Club and the Huddle House here in Jesup. She owned a cleaning service in Helena, MT, before moving back to Wayne County seven years ago, and she enjoyed her family.

Survivors are her husband, George Kessner of Jesup, 2 sons, Mark (Ciara) Thomas, Brandon Thomas, both of Jesup, her mother, Helga Richardson of Jesup, 3 grandchildren, Taytum Thomas, Damien and Troy McDaniels, sisters, Vicky Richardson, Carla Wells, Candy Richardson, brother, George Richardson, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are being held by the family.

The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup are in charge of the arrangements.
