Pamela Voncille Strickland, 65, of Jesup, Ga. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.  The Long County native was a retired nurse working with Dr. Claire Hicks and Dr. Robert Miller.  She loved gambling, antiquing and helping her sister with her fish market.  Her parents, John and Linda Strickland preceded her in death along with her dog, Lucy.

Survivors are a son, Wade (Holly) Williamson of Jesup; a sister, Sonya Harris (Vernon) Nolan of Screven; 3 brothers, Mark Strickland of Jesup, Dale (Joy) Strickland of Ludowici and Terry Strickland of Jesup; two granddaughters, Mallory (Josh) Dixon and Stephene (Luke) Harrell, both of Jesup; two step-grandchildren, Kinsley Lane and Austin (Taylor) Tyre, both of Jesup; nieces and nephews, Oscara (Ben), Alex, Casey, Krista, Ricky and Nicki.

Memorial services are held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
