Odum, Ga.

Opal Teston Wynn, 71, of Odum died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness. The Wayne County native attended Piney Grove Church of God and was a retired employee with Rayonier. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Scooter and Oletha Murphy Teston.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lindsey E. Wynn of Odum; daughter and son-in-law, Lindy and Jamie Greene of Odum; grandchildren, Carmon and Dalton Greene of Odum; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Piney Grove Church of God with Rev. Calvin Anderson, Rev. Jimmy Lord, and Rev. Richard Dobson officiating. Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Robert Wynn, Terry Tillman, Heath Wynn, Johnny Wheelis, Wade Madray, and Robert Greene. Honorary pallbearers will be Connie Scott, Charlie Scott, Dee Tillman, Sandra and Charles Pye, Jay Fulton, Freida Aspinwall, Yvonne Riggs, and Employees of Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016, at the funeral home.
