Odalene Hutto Golden, 83, of Ludowici, Ga. died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.  The Camilla native was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church and was a retired procurement officer with the National Guard Training Center.  Her hobbies included gardening, hiking, cooking, and sewing. She was best known for being an important part of her husband's pastoral ministry including teaching preschool and Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir. She was described by her children and grandchildren as being a Proverbs 31 woman of God. She is predeceased by her parents, Ronald E. and Ruth Day Hutto, Sr. and her sister, Shelba Hutto Sapp.

Survivors are her husband of 65 years, Rev. Dempsy Golden of Ludowici; children, Chris (Cathy) Golden of Martinez, Brenda (Rev. Robert) Richards of Dundee, Mi., Mark (Holly) Golden of Statesboro, Glenn (Katie) Golden of Ludowici; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sister, Helen (Lamar) Kent of Honoraville, Ala.; brother, Ronald Hutto of Hawthorne, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Jones Creek Baptist Church with Reverends Michael Howard and Allan Pierce   officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Friday, April 8, 2022 at the church.
