Norma Lou Bargeron Woods, 77, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The Wayne County native as a member of Crossroads Church of God and the Primetimers Sunday School Class. She enjoyed rearing her children and being a homemaker. Norma also worked as a sales clerk for 12 years for Pic N Save and B.C. Moores for 10 years. Her husband of 48 years, Wayne Earl Woods preceded her in death along with her husband, Joe Willis and numerous siblings.

Survivors are a daughter, Zelda (Kelvin) Griffis of Jesup; son, Earl (Karen) Woods of Jesup; grandchildren, Wesley and Benjamin Woods, Allen (Linda) Stoneking; great grandchild, J.W. Stoneking; sisters, Thelma Jackson and Frances Austin; her hero and brother, Joe T. Bargeron; step-children, Nancy and Chubby Spradley; step-grandchildren, Amanda and Joshua Spradley, Emma Spradley; a step great-great grandchild; a special godchild, Gina West and best friend, Colleen Ivey.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, May 15, 2023 at Crossroads Church of God with Pastors Hulet Smith, Dickie Waters and Brandon Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Barry Bargeron, Kyle and Paul Bullard, Michael Woods, Steve and Ray Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Grant Lewis, Robert Walker, Chris Fulton, Mark Mathis and the members of the Prime Timers Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia Building Fund, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Hospice of South Georgia, Wayne Memorial Hospital ICU and 4 ^th floor nurses.
