Tonya "Nicole" Brooker Wells, 51, of Jesup, Ga. died Sunday, July 9, 2023.  The Wayne County native was a graduate of Wayne County High School and enjoyed sewing and making wigs.  Her parents, Bobby and Ann Smith Brooker preceded her in death along with her sister, Debra Strickland.

Survivors are her husband, James R. Wells, of Jesup; a daughter, Brittany Burrage of Michigan; a son, Colton Burrage of Jesup; several grandchildren; a sister, Tammy Brooker of Jesup.

Family visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Rinehart Chapel. Private burial will be held by her family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
