Melvin "Nick" Olliff, 83, of Callahan, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.  The Wayne County native was a retired electrician and supervisor with Western Electric Company. Someone once said, "A pioneer is an innovator, a trailblazer, a mentor, a benefit to their community, a leader in making the world a better place" and Nick exemplified this.  His wife, Kay Olliff preceded him in death along with his parents, R.N. and Avie Olliff; a son, Kenny Olliff and a granddaughter, Amy Marie DeLettre.

Survivors are a daughter, Angela DeLettre of Callahan; two grandsons, Brian DeLettre of Callahan and Cody (Julia) DeLettre of Orlando.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, February 17, 2025 in Big Creek Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
