Minnie Jo Nordberg, 88, of Jesup, died Monday, August 22, 2022. The Randolph, County, Alabama native had been a resident of Wayne County most of her adult life. She was a retired seamstress supervisor for Fashion Apparel. She was predeceased by her husband, Arvin Nordberg and 2 sons, Timmy and James Nordberg.

Survivors are a daughter, Barbara Landon of Jesup; grandchildren, Sandy Jones, Julie (Justin) Purcell, Rebecca (Travis) Brantley all of Jesup; great grandchildren, Lakelyn Brantley, Paul Purcell, Silas Brantley, Tyler Grantham, Brooklyn Brantley; sister, Nell Horton of Jesup; brother, Lavelle Morris of Roanoke, AL.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022 from Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Devin Mixon officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Wayne County Community Home Health and the Hospice of South Georgia.

Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
