Mindi Annette Cameron Grooms, 50, of Guyton, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2026. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Marketing. Mindi was a retired employee of Colonial Oil in Savannah. She was a Wayne County native and the youngest of three daughters. She brought joy, laughter, and warmth into so many lives. Mindi was humorous, vibrant, and fun-loving and lived life to the fullest. She loved the holidays and hosted the best birthday parties.

Mindi loved her family dearly. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband and the gift of being Mama to Ambrose and Fleur.

She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend and touched the lives of so many people. Mindi leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Winona O’Neal Cameron; grandparents Dan and Rocky Cameron; Andrew O’Neal; and Minnie Hill.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Grooms, of Guyton, son Ambrose, and daughter, Fleur both of Guyton; father, Dan (Zig) Cameron of Jesup; sisters, Lori (David) Bodder, and Lynn Coleman both of Jesup; nieces and nephews Brennan, Colleen, Eryn, Emma, and Hannah and a host of cousins.

Graveside celebration of her life will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday October, 30, 2026 at the Cameron Cemetery with Rev. Deven Mixon officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2026 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.
