Mildred "Sister" Lane Anderson, 90, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on August 26, 2023 as the first patient at the new Hospice of South Georgia Inpatient Unit in Jesup.  She loved Jesus and attended Remember the Cross Ministries.  Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Her love language was serving her family and giving to all who knew her.  Her husband for over 50 years, C.I. Anderson preceded her in death along with her daughter, Sue Anderson and two brothers, Elmer and George Lane.

Survivors are two sons, Allan (Lydia) Anderson of Jesup and Mark (Jan) Anderson of Lilburn; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, A.W. (Becky) Lane and Kenny (Brenda) Lane; 3 sisters, Lora (Jimmy) Dowdy, Janet Evors and Joan Kennedy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Elliott Aspinwall officiating. Private interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
