Jesup, Ga. Michael F. "Mike" McShane, 71 of Jesup, Ga., formerly of Ludowici, Ga. died Friday, February 6, 2015. The Berlin New Hampshire native was a 20 year U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam with Special Forces (Green Beret) in Aviation. He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, traveling and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his VFW friends and was a legacy member. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Edna B. Dunham. Survivors are a daughter, Caroline McShane Weeks of Fayetteville, NC and a son, Mark McShane of Norfolk, Va. and their mother, Irene McShane of Norfolk, Va. ; a brother and sister-in-law, James A. and Barbara Dunham of Albany, Ga.; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Raymon Sabino of Albany, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Brittany, J.J. Erdely, Laura Weeks and Ashley McShane; several nieces and nephews. Military funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Ga.with military honors and Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 P.M.
