Michael Rush, 69, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, October 16, 2023. The Knoxville, Tennessee native had lived in Wayne County for the past 36 years and had attended Memorial Baptist Church. His favorite pastime was playing his guitar  and singing for others.

Survivors are his daughter, Nikki Warren Cross of Jackson, Missouri; granddaughter, Braelyn Cross; caregivers, Charles and Merlene Hutto of Jesup; several extended family members.

Memorial services are being held by his family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
