Michael Allen Ogden, 72, of Darien, Ga. passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The McIntosh County resident was a 1972 graduate of Oglethorpe Academy and attended Brunswick Junior College. He was a mechanic/ wrecker driver for Ogden and Guffey’s Used Cars and Ogden’s Body Shop and served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Darien. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his bicycle on the beach. He was predeceased by his parents, Colen Mitchell and Callie Jean Baldwin Ogden.

Survivors are his children, Eric (Kari) Ogden, Christopher Ogden, Adam (Christina) Ogden all of Darien; grandchildren, Abagale, Jacob, Hayden, and Haylee Ogden; siblings, Janet (Wayne) Gale of Sylvania, Ga. and Karen (Tony) Martin of Darien; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Northside Baptist Church of Darien with Pastor Mike Lynn and Pastor Chris Ogden officiating.
