Meta Joyce (Mema) Sutton Long, 93, of Odum Ga died Tuesday May 2, 2024. Meta was a longtime homemaker and had various other jobs throughout her life while raising three children.  Meta enjoyed family, gardening, fishing and loved being out in her flowers.  She was predeceased by her husband David E Long, Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Long (Chad) Warren; two sons, David E. (Suzanne) Long, III of Maryland and Mike (Jeannie) Long of Jesup; 5 grandchildren, Graham Long, Hannah Long, Chael (Devin) Long, Rachel Long and Chance Warren; a great granddaughter, Noa Long.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
