Obituary

Maxine Hart Prusinsky, 78, of Jesup, Ga. died Tuesday, January 3, 2023 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Appling County native had lived most of her life in Wayne County and attended Liberty Lighthouse Baptist Church, Jesup First Free Will Baptist Church and in the past 10 years was a media member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  Maxine was a hard worker as a produce farmer but occasionally she loved to travel. Her son, James Stroud preceded her in death along with her parents, Major and Cora Hart and her brother, Joe Hart.

Survivors are her husband of 13 years, Dennis Prusinsky of Jesup; two daughters, Miriam Bonita Stroud of Vidalia and Renee Dixon of Jesup; a son, Wesley Stroud of Gardi; 8 grandchildren, Michelle Robinson, Adrienne Rose, Clay Stroud, Philip Shabott, Tori Dixon Smith, Ryan Stroud, Daisy Chambers and Grace Dixon; 14 great grandchildren; 5 brothers, Hubert (Lydia), Donald (Willa Mae), Glynn (Cindy), Carroll (Dot) and Jerry (Peggy) Hart.

A celebration of her life will be 11 AM Friday, January 6, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. John Crosby officiating. Interment will be private.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia Building Fund, 1625 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
