Mary Minchew Yarbrough, 85, of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, November 2, 2023. The Douglas native had lived in Wayne County most of her life      and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved to tend to her flowers in her yard, shop and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Carl Yarbrough, Jr. preceded her in death along with her son, Michael Yarbrough; daughter, Connie Salgado; granddaughter, Mary Salgado; two sisters, Betty Walters and Jean Wooten; a half-brother, Leon Minchew, Jr.

Survivors are a daughter, Cyndi Stapleton of Jesup and Mark (Tanya) Yarbrough of Odum, Ga.; grandchildren, Jason, Tory, Cary, Carlie, Morgan and Hannah; 14 great grandchildren; a step-daughter, Suzi Hiers of Shreveport, La.; a half-sister, Louise Corbitt of Jacksonville, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Monday, November 6, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Elder Thomas Waters and Elder Larry Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in Jesup City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
