Mary Ann Denison Proveaux, 71, of Winder, Ga. and formerly of Jesup, passed away on Tuesday, July 16 2024.  The Wayne County native and 1972 Graduate of Wayne County High School was a former member of Bethlehem Wesleyan Church and attended Jefferson Church.  The homemaker loved flowers and vegetable gardening, bird watching and loving on her dogs, Sassy and Baxter.  Mary enjoyed cooking for her family and treasured the time spent with them. Her parents, John and Willabelle Denison preceded her in death along with her two sisters, Linda Phillips and Faye Mullis and 3 brothers, John Henry, Bobby and Billy Denison.

Survivors are her husband of 5 years, Victor Proveaux of Winder; two daughters, Holly (Wade) Williamson of Jesup and Michele (Tracy) Brown of Odum; 3 stepdaughters, Courtney (James) Dew, Stacy (Ken) McDonald and Amanda (Eric) Harvey; 13 grandchildren, Austin, Kinsley, Kendall, Tristan, Asher, Eli, Crosby, Abel, Keri, Kaydin, Dylan, Mallory and Stephene; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sheree and Suzette Denison, Peggy (Roger) O'Quinn; a brother, Mickey (Katherine) Denison; a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be 2 PM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Bethlehem Wesleyan Church with Reverends Chad O'Quinn and James Dew officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
