Mary Alice Lewis Rogers, 79, of Jesup, Ga. died Tuesday, August 22, 2023. The Wayne County native was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Ladies Auxillary, and was a 1961 graduate of Jesup High School. She was a former co-owner of Duffie's, Inc. and enjoyed her early life as a Jesup Jaycette serving as past president and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan as well as a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.  Most of her life was spent caring for her family and being with them at sports events and salt water fishing. Her husband,  W.C. Rogers, II preceded her in death along with her parents, Slim Lewis and Grace Grantham Lewis Reddish and Tince Reddish.

Survivors are  two daughters, Daphne (Harry Slone) Manning and Shani (Herschell) Hires, both of Jesup; a son, Clint (Tara) Rogers of Waveland Mississippi; sister, Susan Sutton of Jesup; brothers, Grant (Tammy) Lewis and Jeff (Windi) Lewis, both of Jesup; grandchildren, Whitney, Kailey (Tyler), Chelsea (Lucian), Blake (Heather), Cody, Hattie (Joe), Brooke (Derek), C.J. (Katelyn), Chase (Emily), Mary Grace (Ethan); 12 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Leah (Kyle) Jones and Mitch (Crissy) Sutton; several step siblings.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023 from Rogers Cemetery, 150 W. Finland Street, Jesup, GA 31546 with Father Nathan Wilson officiating. Active pallbearers will be family.

Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.
