Mrs. Martha Ogden, 90, died peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, in Leesburg, Georgia surrounded by her family. Originally from Odum, Georgia, Martha was born April 10, 1936 and raised in Odum. Martha was married to Franklin D. Ogden for 50 years and lived in Miami, Florida until 1985 when they moved back to Odum to retire. Mrs. Ogden was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Ogden, mother Lelia Tyre and brother Glenvis “Foss” Tyre.

She is survived by her five children, Richard Ogden (Denise) Mooresville, NC, Carroll Susie Weaver (Donald) Leesburg, Ga, Roger Ogden (Khris) Leesburg, Ga, Frank Ogden (Terry) Alachua, Fla and David Ogden (Londa) Loxahatchee, Fla along with eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Monday, September 14, 2026, at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Alan Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
