Jesup, Georgia Marion F. "Dick" Middleton, 78, of Jesup, Ga., died Friday, September 5, 2014. The Long Co., Ga., native had lived in Wayne Co., Ga., most of his adult life and was a member of the Church of God. He was a retired painter and construction worker. He enjoyed fishing and was predeceased by his wife: Nellie Grace Mathis Middleton and several siblings, Henry, Harold, Mildred, and Gertrude. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law: Pamela and Larry Middleton of Jesup, Ga., a son: Terry Albert Middleton of Jesup, Ga., a sister and brother-in-law: Lucille and Clarence Sapp of Woodbine, Ga., 4 grandchildren: Eric, Keisha, and Nicole Middleton, Sonny Blocker, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 11 A. M. Monday, September 8, 2014, at the Middleton Memorial Cemetery in Long Co., Ga., with Rev. Chris Ogden officiating. Family will receive friends at the cemetery on Monday. The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
