Marilyn Tillman Sikes, 69, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on September 4, 2023. The Pierce County native had lived most of her life in Wayne County. She was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Blackshear, Ga. and a retired employee with Wayne County Board of Education. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Tillman and Christine Morgan Tillman and her great grandson, DeOntia Butler, Jr.

Survivors are her husband of 49 years, Freddie Sikes, a daughter, Dana (Roy) Tabb of Jesup; two sons, Josh (Logan) Sikes of Hortense and Louis (Dayna) Terrell of Jacksonville, Fla.; 9 grandchildren, Roy (Andie), Arielle, and Alexxis Tabb, Matthew Terrell, Anthony, Jordan, and Joshlyn Sikes, Dakota Sikes, and Oliver Axel Reid Sikes; 7 great grandchildren, Bryelle, Ryder, Kinsley, Korbin, Ariabella, Kordale and Oaklie Tabb; a sister, Ernestine (Sylvester) Scurry; brothers, Charles and Kenneth Tillman; several nieces and nephews; sisters- in- laws, Faye Cribbs, Wanda Sikes,  Ruth Sikes and a very special sister in law/friend Paula Sikes and good friend, Pam Eason.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the New Life Apostolic Church, 931 Old Shiloh Road, Blackshear, GA 31516 with Pastor David Harrell officiating.
