Marie Pierce Wiggins, 75, of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, September 4, 2025 under the care of GHC Hospice. The Missouri native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and had worked with Ashley Manufacturing and enjoyed her many years as a wife, mother and Granny. She was predeceased by a son, Ted Wiggins and a daughter, Peggy May.

Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Roy Wiggins of Jesup, Ga.; 3 daughters, April (Robbie) Finch, Wendy Clay, and Chasity (Garrett) Smith, all of Jesup; a son, Roger (Sonya) Wiggins of Swansea, South Carolina; two brothers, James L. Pierce, Jr. of Ft. Meyers, FL and Bobby Pierce of Boston, TX; 3 sisters, Joann Wilkinson of Hatfield, AR, Geneva Mayer of New Point, AR, Betty Pierce of Mena, AR; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Ryan Wilson officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
