Margaret Catherine "Peggy" Kirkland, 89, of Jesup, Ga. passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. Born in Washington, Ga. she had lived in Wayne County for most of her life and was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church and a retired factory worker. She enjoyed her "gift of gab" and was shown in her in love of family and friends. She was predeceased by her sons, Freddie Mason and Robert Mason, Sr.

Survivors are two daughters, Kathy Powell and Rene' Ussery; a son, Anthony Mason; sisters, Ann Knight, Linda (Shorty) Dixon all of Jesup, Lee Roberts of St. Simons Island, GA and Wanda Glover of Barnesille, GA; brothers, R.N. Mosley, Sr. of Blackshear, GA, James Davis of Elberton, GA.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 22, 2023 from Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ray Worley, Chaplin Phil Bounce and Rev. Stanley Todd  officiating. Interment will follow in Jesup City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
