Marcey McCollum Denison, 95, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia and surrounded by her loving family.  The Wayne County native was a member of Ritch Missionary Baptist Church and centered her world around helping her predeceased husband of 67 years, Fentress "Fent" Denison with running T.F. Denison Farm Center Store. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, she loved cooking, flower gardening and canning vegetables, jams and jellies.

Survivors are two daughters, Ellen Griffis of Screven and Glenda (Homer) Scarborough of Jesup; son, Franklin (Yvette) Denison of Screven; grandchildren, Darlene Hyers, Melissa (J.R.) Phillips, Tony Griffis, Dennis Scarborough, Brian (Abbie) Scarborough, Katrina (Marshall) Howard, Travis Denison, Cameron (Cristy) Lee, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ruth Denison of Jesup.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday, March 31, 2025 at Ritch Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Shon Cunningham and Mark Ledbetter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ritch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her Ladies Sunday School Class, caregivers and Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
