Marcelle Edmondson Yeomans, 90, of Jesup, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. The Wayne Co., Ga, native was a 1951 graduate of Jesup High School, a member of the Spring Grove Freewill Baptist Church, a homemaker, and 27-year employee with the Press-Sentinel. She was an avid reader and enjoyed flower gardening and was the widow of Warner Yeomans and predeceased by a son, Charles Yeomans.

Survivors are a daughter, Veta Yeomans of Jesup, brother, Darryl (Sarah) Edmondson of Screven, granddaughter, Angie (Paul) McDuffie of Odum, 2 great-grandchildren, Rem Flournoy and Macie McDuffie, several nieces and nephews including Rebecca and Hugh.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Spring Grove Cemetery with Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating.

Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
