Jesup, Ga. Manuel Manning, 73, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, April 22, 2013. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of the Manningtown Church of God, retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Brunswick Pulp and Paper, was a avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife: Gail Williamson Manning. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Joe Smith of Ludowici, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Betty Manning of Jesup, Ga., Carl and Pam Manning of Baxley, Ga.; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew H., Christy, Tiffany, Joseph, Matthew M., and Samuel, 3 great-grandchildren, Zoey, Jaci, and Jack, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Tim Fulmer and Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Interment will be in the Manningtown Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: James Manning, Mark Manning, Joey Manning, Joe Manning, Carl Manning, Joe Smith, Johnny Manning, and Henry Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Vernon Spradley, Slayton Manning, Larry Manning, J. A. Manning, Herman Manning, and Woodrow Manning. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M.
