Obituary

Manuel Britt King, 62, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  The Florida native and resident had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life and was a member of Jesup First Baptist Church.  The U.S. Army Veteran was classified as a WWII Veteran due to his presence in Germany at the time of the "fall of the wall".  Britt was a very intelligent man who had a passion for electronics, especially computer programming, building applications and creating websites.  His family said, "If he could plug it in and it had a brain, he liked it." The lights of his life were his children and grandchildren. His parents, Mack and Haroldine King preceded him in death along with his step-father, Andrew Terraciano and brother, Hal King.

Survivors are a wife of 24 years, Denise King of Jesup; 5 daughters, Kristie (Anthony) Catanzaro, Amanda King, Krystal (Christy) DeLoach, Sarah and Zara King; two sons, Preston and Trenton King; 6 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Alana, Michael, Gabriella, Xander and Zayda; two sisters, Gwen Johnston and Meme Sheeler; two brothers, Joseph Mack King and Andrew (Monica) King; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Rinehart Chapel with Dr. Mike VonMoss officiating. Interment will be held 1 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
