Jesup, Ga. Macola "Macy" Wiggins Lewis, 92 of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Golden Living Center. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of Jesup Primitive Baptist Church and worked as an LPN with the Wayne Memorial Hospital for many years and later volunteered with the Wayne Memorial Auxiliary. She enjoyed staying active with her children, grandchildren, friends and relatives in the Oglethorpe Community. Her Husband, Walter D. "Dub" Lewis, preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her son, Ralph Lewis; her daughter, Faye Lewis Ring; her granddaughter, Monica Clifton. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Tingen of Oxford, N.C.; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Gale Lewis of Screven, Ga., Gerald and Kyong Lewis of Melbourne, Fla., Roger and Paula Lewis of Jesup, Ga.; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Elder Vernon Eckleberry officiating. Interment will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Golden Living Center. Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the funeral home.
