Lorata "MawMaw" Griner Barber, 90, of Odum, Ga. died Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The Bainbridge, Ga. native had lived in Wayne County for the past 20 years and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Her favorite past times were gardening, cooking, shopping, and being with her family. She was the widow of Harry Joe Barber and her son,Charles Barber also preceded her in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Frances Reynolds and Traci (Eric) Manning, both of Odum; two sons, Jim Barber of Macon and Billy (Karen) Barber of Atlanta; 9 grandchildren, Mandy, Amber, Bucky, Cole, Elizabeth, Jana, Olivia, Carlie, and Hayes; 4 great grandchildren, Aaron, Hayden, Madelyn and Sydney.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024 from Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
