Jesup, Ga.

Lois Dixon Rogers Kicklighter, 90 of Jesup died Monday, January 29, 2018 after a short illness.  The Pierce County native was a member of Jesup Primitive Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed her volunteer work with Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Some favorite pastimes were spending time with her children, cooking and Facebook. Her husbands, Grover C. Rogers and Arnold H. Kicklighter preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Ellen (Kenzie) Tyre of Jesup; a son, Ervin(Rosemary) Rogers of Jesup; two brothers, Virgil (Linda) Dixon and Wilton (Nancy ) Dixon, both of Blackshear; 4 grandchildren, Chris McDuffie, Kenza Tyre Murray, Stacy Delo and Matthew Rogers; 10 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Jesup Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Keith Tillman officiating. Interment will be in the Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be 2 to 3 P.M. prior to services at the church.
