Lisa Carol Surrency, 66, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on August 29, 2025, surrounded by her family as God called her home. Affectionately known as Queenie to all who loved her, she was cherished for her warmth, strength, and devotion to family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Tyler Benton Surrency.

Lisa is survived by her sons, Jeremy (Kate) Metts of Richmond Hill, and Adam (Mary Nelle) Thornton of Madisonville, Tenn.; her mother, Norma Stewart Surrency; and her sisters, Terri Lynn Surrency and Ty Surrency Drury, all of Jesup. She was the proud grandmother of six precious grandchildren—Griffin, Henley, and Sully Metts, and Knox, Jon Crew, and Jane Thornton. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who dearly loved their "Queenie."

The family will honor her life with a private Celebration of Life service in the near future.
