Linda Smith, 77, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Appling County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and was a Christian. Linda was a retired seamstress and enjoyed taking care of her great grandson and cooking. Her husband, Bobby Smith preceded her in death along with her son, Franklin Lamar Hand.

Survivors are a daughter, Shirley (Terry) Martin of Jesup and a son, Bobby, Jr. (Rhonda) Smith of Wrens; 5 grandchildren, Linda Hand, Erica (Ben) Sisson, Emily (fiance' Hunter Mixon) Martin, Chandler Smith, and Sadie Smith; a great grandson, Braiden.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2025 in Smyrna Cemetery, 671 Landfill Road, Nahunta, GA 31543 with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545.
