Linda Grantham Odom, 83, of Jesup, Ga. passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2023 under the care of Cotton Grove Estates and Hospice of South Georgia. Linda was a life long resident of Wayne County and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, and possessed a green thumb that produced beautiful plants. She loved her home in Gardi, Ga. and prided herself on caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, G. Mike Odom, Sr.; her parents, John Holland Grantham, Sr. and Miriam Arnette Grantham; a sister, Grace Lewis Reddish; a brother, John Holland Grantham, Jr.

Survivors are her children, G. Mike (Mary) Odom, Jr. of Richmond Hill, Ga.; Tonda (Russell) Highsmith of Jesup and Jana (Mark) Perry of Saint Simons Island,  grandchildren, Remley (Payton) Highsmith of Jesup, Hunter (Chelsey) Odom of Marietta, Caroline Odom of Atlanta, Isabella and Davis Perry of Saint Simons Island; 2 great grand- children, Ryder Highsmith and Parker Highsmith; sister-in-law, Faye (Richard) Quick of Waynesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with family speaking. Interment will follow at Gardi Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and son-in-laws. Honorary pallbearers will be all present and past care givers, staff and administration of Cotton Grove Estates and the staff of Hospice of South Georgia.

Family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home.
