Linda Bowen Loper, 70, of Hortense, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.  The Florida native had lived in Brantley County the past 20 years and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church and was a former dental assistant.  She enjoyed taking care of her home and yard. Her husband, James Paul Loper preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Cindy James of Sanford, Fla.; a son, Thomas Bowen of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Earl Sparkman and Timothy Sparkman, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Frankie, Debbie and Audrey; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Little Cemetery in Hortense with Pastor Keith Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
