Linda Merritt Bodder, 76, of Jesup, Ga. and formerly of Kingsland died Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  She was a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church.  She was very active with the Prison Fellowship Ministries and the Angel Tree Outreach Program.  Her kindness was always shown to everyone, including strangers. Gardening and crafting were some of her favorite things. Her parents along with 3 sisters, 4 brothers-in-law and a nephew preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband of 46 years, David Bodder of Jesup; two daughters, Melissa Welch of Woodbine and Candise (Sean) Ott of Chelsea, Ala.; a son, David S. (Lori) Bodder of Jesup; 11 granddaughters, two great grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Wilson of Stonington, Conn.

A celebration of life service will be 2 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Kingsland First Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Parker officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the church.

A private family burial was held in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.,Monday, February 6, 2023 with Rev. Paul Eastwood officiating.
