Linda Leonard Anderson, 70, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 after a long illness at Regency Hospital in Macon surrounded by her family.  The Wayne County resident was a retired labor and delivery nurse who loved to read, quilt, and shop.  Her husband of 36 years, Dale Anderson preceded her in death along with her granddaughters, Katelyn and Ashlynn Anderson; grandson, Zachary Harrill; sister, Sandra Crummey; brother, Richard Leonard and nephew, Andy Jones.

Survivors are two daughters, Paula (Alan) Carter of Odum and Aleshia (Clint Patterson) Newkirk of Winnemucca Nevada; two sons, Carl David (Lynn) Anderson of Brunswick and Mac (Jennifer) Anderson of Jesup; grandchildren, Alexis (Alex) Buser, Morgan Harrill, Madison (Chris) Dandaneau, Josh (Taylor) Anderson, Logan (Hanna) Anderson, Conner Anderson, Sarah (Seth Kersey) Anderson ,  Brandon (Maddux Jenkins) Newkirk, Kayla Newkirk, and Olivia Carter; great grandchildren, Blythe, Blair, Brayten, Finley and Kora; two sisters, Arlene Herndon and Catherine Bennett; brother-in-law, Paul (Sylvia) Anderson; her 4 legged companion, Reese; special nieces, Angie Knowland and Kristy Unger; special nephew, B.B. Anderson; special family friends, Robert and Angie Lane, Carrie Roberson, Cathy Snow and Molly McLaughlin.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, February 24, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Tim Brantley officiating. Interment will follow in the Priester Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Josh, Logan, Conner Anderson, Brandon Newkirk, Chris Dandaneau and Alex Buser.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends at 1576 Fred Carter Rd., Odum, GA 31555.
