Odum, Ga.

Sgt. 1st Class LeRoy Carl "Lee" Miller, 83, of Odum, Georgia died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness. The Orange Park, New Jersey native had lived in Wayne County, Georgia the past 50 years and was a member of Odum Baptist Church, retired U.S. Army Veteran Special Forces and 20-year Rayonier Retiree. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, drawing and telling jokes.

Survivors are his wife of 25 years Patricia Daniel Miller of Odum; children, Chris Miller of Atlanta, Angie Herring Ivey of Odum, Leslie Truby and April (John) Dick, all of Jesup, Michael Miller of California, Terry (Patricia) Miller of Tifton, Wayne Herring of Atlanta, Jamie Odom of Atlantic City, New Jersey; sister, Lorraine Miller of Bayville, New Jersey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating along with American Legion Post 311 presenting the American Flag.  Honorary pallbearers will be staff at Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to service at the funeral home.
