Leonard "John" Eaton, 75, of Everett City community died Thursday, November 14, 2024. The former Pembroke resident had lived in Everett for the past 17 years and was a member of Everett Baptist Church. He was a master carpenter and built many homes in the area and enjoyed fishing in his leisure time.

Survivors are his wife, Danette Marrie Eaton of Everett City, Ga.; several children and grandchildren.

Private memorial services are being held by his family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
