Leobardo Hurtado, 91, a resident of Jesup, Ga. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Leo was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed a good game of dominoes, eating breakfast at McDonalds or Huddle House, fishing, riding his golf cart, and time with his family and friends. Although this circumstance took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all. He was an example of God's love. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed greatly by many. He was deceased by his loving wife, Margarita Hurtado-Toran and grandson, Ismael Romo.

Survivors are his children, Alejandro Hurtado, Richardo (Georgina) Hurtado, Socorro (Michael) Churchman, Soledad (Pablo) Romo, Rosario (Tony) Avila; a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren, Jacob Hurtado, David Hurtado, Joshua Hurtado, Mathana Hoppe, Alexander Hurtado, Ann Churchman, Rachel Churchman, Pablo Romo, Natalia Romo, Isaac Avila, and Sylvia Avila; 10 great grandchildren, Harrison, Beckham, Ariel, Vana, Esteban, Santiago, Elia, Paula, Henry and Leo.

A short memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Jesup, Ga.

Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
