Lem Colvin "Sam" Aspinwall, Jr., 63, of Odum, Ga. passed away on October 10, 2022.  The Wayne County native and 1977 Wayne County High School Graduate was a dedicated forestry technician with International Forestry Company. He was a kindhearted man who would take good care of everyone else before himself. Running dogs for deer hunting was a favorite pastime and tending to his property. His parents, Colvin and Marie Aspinwall preceded him in death along with his sister, June Aspinwall Whitehead.

Survivors are his two sisters, Gail Aspinwall of Savannah and Pat (Butch) Jones of Huntsville, Ala.; aunt, Sadie Russell of Jesup; other extended relatives.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Varney Aspinwall and Charlie Hinson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Aspinwall Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Junior Aspinwall, Tom Collins, Heath Wynn, Jimmy Anderson, Jeffrey Horton and Richard White.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
