Larry Wayne Sturgeon, 80, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, August 21, 2024.  The Ohio native had lived in Wayne County the past few years and was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving in Vietnam.  Larry was a retired truck driver who enjoyed playing pool and dart games with friends.

Survivors are his daughter, Simone (Flinn) James of Jesup; a son, Jason (Melissa) Sturgeon of Texarkana, Arkansas; several grandchildren, Gabrielle, Shelby, Ryan, Hannah and Zoe and several great grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held by family.
