Larry Parks Collins, Sr., 85, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. He was a member of Jesup First United Methodist Church and a retired ITT Rayonier supervisor in the Power House.  He enjoyed woodworking after retirement and had an interest in 18-wheeler trucks. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Hires Collins; his parents, Ralph and Hazel Parks Collins; and a brother, Don Collins.

Survivors are his sons, Larry P. Collins, Jr. of Jesup and Rusty Collins of Screven; grandchildren, Cody, Larry P., III, and Hanna Collins (Logan) Anderson all of Jesup; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of life services will be held 5 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Jesup First United Methodist Church with Pastor Rebecca Duke-Barton officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
