Kenny M. Scott, 64, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Wayne County native was a mechanic with Beverly Tire and Oil, loved to fish and hunt.  His parents, James Garfield and Madeline Scott preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Lucretia Pittman Scott of Jesup; two daughters, DeAnn Scott and Diane Kent, both of Jesup; several grandchildren and other extended family including caregivers, Jerry and Georgianna Scott of Hortense.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Richard Dobson officiating. Interment will follow in the Moody-Tillman Cemetery, Fred Carter Road, Odum, GA 31555. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Scott, Harpe Hurst, Ricky Greene, Robert Greene, James Greene and Levi Greene. Honorary pallbearers will be Hampton Brooker, Mikell Scott and Willie Stevens.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of South Georgia for their special care of Kenny.
