Kenneth Gary Freeman, 84, of Brunswick, Ga. passed away on Sunday November 9, 2025 under the care of Hospice of Golden Isles. Ken was born in the Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, New Jersey and earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree at Rutgers University in Psychology.  After graduation, he was vice president of Eagle Oil Company in New Jersey. Following the sale of his family's business, he was a psychologist in Pasadena, California and Coconut Grove, Florida before retiring to Brunswick.  He was proud of his Jewish heritage. Ken's beloved partner of 25 years, Leilani Rose Casstellucci preceded him in death along with his parents, Richard and Sylvia Freeman, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Freeman, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Zuprick; an aunt, Rita Zupnick (Irwin) Heyman and niece, Joanie Heyman.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Chitty Freeman of Brunswick; sister, Joan (Larry) Budish; nephews, Eric and  Jon Budish; step-sons, William (Haley) Chitty, Paul, Michael and Nathan Garcia; step-daughters, Eva-Marie (Danny) Meherally and Debbie McWilliams; step-grandchildren, Lillian, River and Alden Meherally, Zeke, Ellianna and Eva Silva; special "adopted" family, Juan Silva and Will(Delma) Santiago; sister-in-law, Annette Coulson and brother-in-law, Curtis (Katie) Lanier; special niece, Lisa (Carey) McDaniel.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rabbi Rachael Bregman officiating. Interment will follow in the Manningtown Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Carey McDaniel, Nate Jackson, Jeffery McCarty, Brian Lanier and Josh Remer.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
