Jesup, Ga.

Judy Johnson Rikard, 74 of Jesup died Saturday, April 29, 2017 after an extended illness.  The Mobile, Ala. native had lived in Wayne County for the past 32 years, was a member of Jesup First United Methodist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class and Circle Two. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, playing with many card groups and celebrating special occasions with her "Lady Bug" friends.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Lee H. Rikard of Jesup; two daughters, Melissa (Dr. Edwin) Davis and Kim (Charles)Snyder, both of Jesup; brothers, Thomas (Ann) Johnson of Alexander City, Ala., Edward (Gloria) Johnson of Wetumpka, Ala. and James (Paula) Johnson of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Cole Davis, Addi Davis and Tori Davis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Jesup First United Methodist Church with Pastor Tucker Lewis officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Joy Sunday School Class, card groups and the "Lady Bug" friends.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the church.
