Joseph "Joe" Kiger, 77, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 under Hospice of South Georgia.  The former Spokane, Washington resident had lived in Wayne County the past 25 years and was the property manager for Sunset Villas in Jesup.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed cooking and traveling.  His son, James Kiger preceded him in death along with his brothers, Richard and Alva Kiger.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Debra Smith of Jesup; a daughter, Crystal Ugolini of Jesup; a son, Joey Kiger of Hayden Idaho; sisters, Sandy Fredrick of Aloha, Oregon and Lorie Moore of Ban Buren, Arkansas; brother, Raymond Kiger of Aloha, Oregon; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Private memorial services are being held by the family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
