Earl Griffis, 85, of Odum, Ga. died Thursday, February 2, 2023.  The Appling County native had lived in Odum all of his life and attended Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  He was a multi-generational farmer who loved to connect with the land.  Watching Westerns and Andy Griffith were some favorite pastimes.  The love of his life, Veda Nell Lightsey Griffis preceded him in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Pamela Robinson of Allenhurst; a granddaughter, Abigale Robinson and a grandson, Ezekiel Lodge; several other extended family members also survive.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.
