Jonathan "Jonny" William Knox, 31, of Odum, Ga. died Saturday, February 1, 2025 in a motor vehicle accident.  The Florida native had lived in Wayne County for the past few years and was a mechanic and painter. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog, Stella. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jacob.

Survivors are his mother, Stephanie Sweeney (Steve Arnold) of Port Orange, FL; two sisters, Amber and Taysha; step siblings, Shannon, Matthew, and Kristina; numerous aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held by his family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
