Jona Eason Sheffield age 81, passed away Sunday ,December 18, 2022 surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her parents Jim Eason and Alma Tootle Eason; her twin sister Verna Martin, brothers James Eason and S.L. Eason.

Jona is survived by a sister Willa Bell, 4 sons Timothy Sheffield, Craig Sheffield, Guy and Dawn Sheffield, Paul and Karen Sheffield ; one daughter Tina Sheffield Murphy. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Kristal Lynn Barnett, Skyler and Brandy Kinchen, Chandler Kinchen, Cody Leonard, Ashton Sheffield and Isabella Austin, Lacy Sheffield, Paul Sheffield, Kayla Sheffield, Alan and Jessica Murphy, Chris and Buffy Murphy. Jona is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Jeena, Issiah, and Noah Barnett, Hamp and Maddox Murphy, Kassidy and Cameron Murphy, Ariya and Brentley Kinchen, and Sophia Sheffield. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Memorial services will be held at a later date at Ritch Baptist Church in Screven, GA.
