Johnny Manning, 53, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.  The Wayne County native was a Baptist and a former plumber and dredge operator.  He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his sons and grandchildren. His father, Terry Harris preceded him in death along with his grandparents, Mona Ford, Carolyn Manning and Sanford Manning.

Survivors are two sons, Michael (Brittany) Manning and Justin Manning, both of Jesup; a mother, Sandra Harris of Jesup; 6 grandchildren, Trint, Ashton, Rhett, Colton, Caylum and Connor Manning; 3 sisters, Sonya (Neil) Palmer of Macon, Terri (Bruce, Jr.) Jackson of Screven and Jessica Harris of Hinesville; two brothers, Kevin (Christie) Manning of Screven and Jay (Mikie) Harris of Jesup; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be 11 AM Friday, December 1, 2023 at New Life Church, 1255 Joey Williamson Road, Jesup, GA 31545 with his uncle, Rev. Charlie Smith officiating. Private interment will be in the Jesup City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
